Energy: Fossil Fuel Courses

Continuing Education Credits

As an International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Authorized Provider, GP’s Energy Services Group can provide continuing education units (CEUs) for instructional programs that adhere to IACET standards. IACET is an independent, internationally recognized, non-profit organization whose goal is to ensure quality continuing education for professionals.

To become an IACET Authorized Provider, an organization must demonstrate, through a rigorous application and review process, that it designs, develops, and maintains training programs in accordance with established adult education theory and acknowledged instructional system design (ISD) practices.

Additional information on CEUs, the Authorized Provider program, and IACET requirements may be found at IACET's website at www.iacet.org.

CEUs offered by GP can be obtained upon successful completion of CEU-approved courses. GP offers two instructional delivery methods within the energy specialty that allow students to earn CEUs:

  • Fossil fuel instructor-led courses—Supported by a staff of highly experienced instructors, our instructor-led courses can be presented at your site. Additionally, many courses are available through open enrollment at locations across the US.
  • GPiLEARN™ Web-Based Training (WBT)—GPiLEARN is a comprehensive online training portal that allows workers to access courses anytime, anywhere via the Internet.

Let GP help with your professional development.

1 CEU is equivalent to 10 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). IACET CEUs meet the requirements for professional licensure, although specific requirements vary per state. GP encourages you to check with your state licensing board for specific requirements and accepted training. We are adding new CEU-approved courses; please check back often.
